Involvement in non-profit activities and professional training

Besides the realisation of our projects, we are actively involved in the work of related associations and institutions. This is our contribution to a further development of technology and its safe installation. The purpose of our work is always to optimise the working conditions and to improve the operational procedures on and behind the stage as well as a high comfort forthe audience.

Our Planning Company is actively involved in the following institutions:

Deutsche Theatertechnische Gesellschaft DTHG

(German Association of Theatre Technicians)

www.dthg.de
centrale@dthg.de

The DTHG unites professionals for theatre, film, TV, show and event. For many years, Kurt Gerling was a board member of the association and essentially contributed to a reform of the regulations for public venues. Collaborators of the company give lectures at the meetings and are involved in projects of the association.

OISTAT – International Association of Theatre technicians, architects and scnographers

www.oistat.nl
secretariat@oistat.nl
This international association was founded in 1967 to allow an exchange between east and west. Meanwhile, the exchange has become worldwide. We contribute to the work of the international board, help to organise meetings of the commissions and work on the themes of the commissions.

Standards Committee within the DIN

Within DIN, diverse committees have the aim to (re)define terms, standards and norms for lighting, machinery and electrotechnics. We are actively involved in these committees and thus make a constructive contribution to senseful definitions and agreements.

Bühnentechnische Rundschau

http://www.btr-friedrich.de
redaktion@btr-friedrich.de
The Bühnentechnische Rundschau is the professional magazine for all sectors of event technology, theatre architecture, management and organisation. We contribute with our knowledge by publishing articles in BTR and contribute to the professional exchange among colleagues.

Teaching at the School of Theatres Engineers in Berlin

We give courses to the students at the Engineers’ School in Berlin who study to become engineers for the technology of venues and performances.
