Bamberg: E.T.A. Hoffmann TheatreStage machineryUnder machineryFour stage platforms with spindle drive and inclining floors were installed. Stage wagons and a turntable, built of frames, can be lowered with the platforms to form an even surface. For a possible future employment of a turntable wagon, guiding rails were installed in the stage floor. A motor driven orchestra platform (lifting height from –1,00m to +1,00 m) reduces the installation time to a few minutes. Cloth store The space in the understage behind the platform was used for the installation of a cloth store. It consists of 10.40 m long storage spaces that can be served directly from the stage. Upper machinery For financial reasons, half of the fly bars are manual, the others are driven by electric motors. It can easily be converted into a completely motorized installation. The actual installation consists of seven electrically driven fly bars and one acoustic curtain, the other bars are operated manually. The flies are operated by an electronic command class 5. All drives can be moved individually, in groups and synchronically. The following fly bars were installed:
The portal consists of two fix lighting towers with a vertically moving lighting bridge. The lighting portal has a fix opening of 8,00m. The lighting bridge can be moved between +1,00m and +7,50 m.
